Options

 As you can see from my website, many of the guitars shown are custom variations of standard models. Options for the different models are detailed below.

Tailpieces

Virtuoso models are equipped with a special hand engraved gold plated tailpiece as standard.

Imperial, Premier, Empire,  Eclipse, and Classic models are equipped with ebony tailpiece as standard. The optional hand engraved gold plated tailpiece is an additional $2500

Arch Nouveau models are equipped with rosewood fittings as standard.

Bindings

Multiple layer ivoroid bindings are standard on most models with the exception of the Arch Nouveau which has figured maple bindings. Wood bindings can be substituted on all other models for an additional charge of $1500

Pick-ups

All archtop models are offered with the choice of Benedetto or Seymor Duncan floating pick-up for an additional $250 including installation.

Occasionally I can obtain vintage DeArmond floating pick-ups. Price will vary.

Flat-top models are offered with a variety of pick-ups. Because there are so many different types and manufacturers, I leave the choice to the customer.

Semi-solid body models are fitted with Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers as standard. Again, there are so many different pick-ups available and I leave this choice to the customer. 

Finishes

All models are available in a variety of sunburst colors for an additional $500

A Blue sunburst finish is an additional $800

Cases

A good quality plush-lined, hard-shell case is included in the price of all models. Upgrades are available for an additional cost.

Ordering Information

A deposit of $500 is required when ordering. Payment can be made by personal check or bank cashiers check made out to Mark Lacey. An additional payment of one third of the remaining balance will be required once I am ready to begin building your guitar. The remaining balance is due upon completion of instrument. You will have a 72 hour approval period. If you are not satisfied, I will issue a full refund. Customer will be responsible for cost of return shipping including freight insurance. The guitar must be returned in the same condition to receive a refund. Orders canceled during construction will not be refunded until the instrument has been completed and sold. There will be no refund on special custom instruments with unusual inlays or neck/scale dimensions.

Prices are subject to change without notice, however  price quotes for confirmed orders will not change.

All Lacey Guitars come with a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner
