The HardRock Cafe Guitar

My association with the HardRock Cafe began back in the early 1980's when I met Warwick Stone who was at that time the director of memorabilia. The HardRock was looking for someone to make all the wall mounting fixtures to hang their guitars. I ended up making the fixtures for about five HardRocks. Warwick had seen some of my earlier guitars and commissioned me to build a HardRock Cafe guitar.

Features

The body is made from one piece figured sycamore. Inlays are in purple heart, abalone and mother of pearl. The fingerboard inlays are pearl musical notes. The pick-ups are modified stratocaster style and are mounted from the rear.
